Senior Test Engineer (Finland)
Neuro Event Labs is looking for a skilled Senior Test Engineer to help elevate our test automation stack to the next level.
Job Overview:
You have several years of experience in designing and developing test plans, test cases and test environments. You’re comfortable in writing automated tests (API, Integration, UI acceptance tests). You can effectively maintain a repository of tests and the related infrastructure. You are eager to understand our architecture and processes, and you communicate effectively with developers to resolve issues.
NEL is a multinational company and daily communication is mainly done in English. Fluent written and spoken English is required.

We collect vast amounts of multimedia and sensor data from epilepsy patients across Finland, with international expansion on the way.
Our solution back-end is a scalable service based on FaaS architecture on AWS cloud infrastructure. In addition to our main cloud infrastructure, our back-end extends to a video processing pipeline and IoT device management. With a fleet of devices around the globe, we need to manage the intake and processing of data, while keeping our IoT fleet up-to-date and ready for action. Our front-end provides doctors and nurses with an intuitive user interface to see an overview of seizure frequency and characteristics of monitored patients and to drill down to details as needed.

You should:
- Have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test plans and assets
- Have experience in building and maintaining containerized test automation solutions
- Have programming skills (Python, bash etc.)
- Have experience using Linux based systems (e.g. Fedora, Yocto)
- Have fluent English skills
This is a full-time, continuous position. You would be preferably located in Tampere Finland, but remote work can also be considered. We value expertise, enthusiasm, and true commitment above all; the rest is negotiable.
