Business Development Manager

Our product provides a revolutionary, scalable solution for measuring epilepsy and other neurological diseases. Our combination of machine vision and AI-powered algorithms helps neurologists treat their patients better and provide them with high-quality lives. We have an ambitious goal to scale up and go international during the next years, starting from Europe and preparing clinical business entry in the US.

To achieve our goals, we need a Business Development Manager, an experienced and talented sales and marketing professional who contributes in building our marketing & sales activities and also supports customers in technical and operational challenges fully supported by the NEL development team. We need you to take a strong role in building our brand and market presence, as well as defining processes and creating networks to make it all happen.

In this position, you will be a central part of building our new sales network and interact directly with medical professionals and other client stakeholders. While we highly value sales experience from the medical field and general understanding of epilepsy, the most important assets are existing networks in the neurology domain and understanding the context, especially epilepsy. We have a great product, and you will be a key evangelist who educates and builds trust with our clients.

While our main product development team is in Tampere, Finland, you and your existing network of neurology specialists can be located anywhere in Europe. Note that you must be ready to travel.

We expect you to

  • Work with the NEL leadership team to further define our vision in sales, marketing, branding and communication, including the work that executes that vision.
  • Independently identify, engage and close sales for clients operating in the neurology sector.
  • Contribute to establishing and managing pilot projects and moving to continuous use with NEL customers.
  • Ensure customer success in both technical and operational issues with the support of the entire NEL team.
  • Collaborate with our product team to develop our product further based on feedback from customers.
  • Have an international mindset, be able to develop internationally direct business relationships and support global sales agent networks.
  • Be a great presenter, also in public, and a natural network builder – especially in the special health care sector.
